- How to get to Ha Giang
- By motorbike
You can rent a motorbike and travel to Ha Giang by yourself, however, please make sure that you are an expert in riding a motorbike and always pay attention to the traffic.
You can easily to find the way on Google Map, please check the route below for your reference:
Route 1: Hanoi – Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang City, then traveling to up-northern to Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Meo Vac, Dong Van, Hoang Su Phi, and back to Hanoi.
Route 2: Hanoi – Thai Nguyen – Bac Kan – Ba Be Lake – Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao Cave, Bao Lac district (Cao Bang province) – Meo Vac (Ha Giang province) – Dong Van Geo-park – Ha Giang city – Hanoi.
- By bus
Traveling by bus to Ha Giang is the most comfortable way as you can save your time, energy and it is safer than riding a motorbike by yourself.
Local bus: You can go to My Dinh, Giap Bat, Gia Lam station to take the day or night bus to Ha Giang
Tourist bus: Limousine or sleeping bus. You can book the ticket online or at any travel agency in Hanoi.

III. Mobile and internet access
As a mountainous area, but the mobile connection in Ha Giang is quite fast. You can purchase a SIM card of Viettel, Vinaphone, or Mobiphone. The internet connection 3G/4G is not so good, sometime you may lose the connection. Wifi is available in Ha Giang city but not in most tourist destinations.
